Project description / Mayoral candidate Hassan Alyassin recognized early on the importance of an online presence if he was to be taken serious as a possible candidate running for Pomona Mayor. In 2008, he had the best looking and most effective website compared to other candidates.
PHPList was configured into his website and used to email 6,000+ subscribers. At the end of the campaign 1 in 5 subscribers voted for him. Not too bad of a ratio I might add.
